LEL was founded in 2007 on a simple but powerful idea — to love people. Our roots trace back to the Checkered Cab Company, founded by the grandfather of LEL’s founder, Lee Lancaster, where integrity, hard work, and loving people were core values. That same culture continues to drive us today.
